Levels of Software Testing
Unit testing tests individual functions or units. Integration testing incrementally combines units and tests them after each step.
System testing tests the fully integrated system. Alpha testing is performed by the test team within the organisation; beta testing involves a select group of customers.
In acceptance testing, the customer checks the requirements or user stories and decides whether to accept delivery. Performance testing checks non-functional requirements.
